Female Football: USA, Takes Home The Cup Again!

Breaking a record of highest number of goals in a women’s world cup final, USA made it 4-0 before the second half with Lloyd scoring an incredible 13th minute hat-trick.

The Japanese team on the other hand, facing a team faster and stronger, were able to pull two back before the end of the match. However, the Americans made sure they had caused pandemonium among the huge contingent of US supporters inside BC Place

As soon as the final whistle was blown, American supporters busted out in joyous celebration as CAF president, Issa Hayatou, standing in the place of FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, presented the world cup trophy to former captain Christie Rampone and veteran striker Abby Wambach. Making it three on their tab, the USA team surely made a great difference, scoring the highest number of goals ever in the women’s world cup final.
