President Buhari Holds Closed-Door Meeting With Service Chiefs And The National Security Adviser

President Muhammadu Buhari is to meet with Service Chiefs at the Defense House in Abuja to further intensify efforts to tackle head-on the insurgency in the north-east. 

The meeting is part of the efforts to keep abreast of the operational changes being introduced to deal with the challenge of terrorism effectively.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has announced the establishment of a Command and Control Centre in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital in line with the president’s directive in his inaugural address.
