Another interesting article from Adesina, read on...
We cannot underestimate the fact that Unemployment gave birth to so many social inequalities in our societies that the Nigeria government are battling with on a daily basis ranging from armed robbery, prostitution, cyber crime down to corruption, child abuse, fraud and above all terrorism.
Unemployment rate in Nigeria is so alarming, that Successive government in the country as always looked for means in controlling it to the bearest minimum that can be controlled and make it virile and purposeful youth be fully engaged for national growth and development but different program's and agenda by different Administrations towards curtailing the unemployment rate in Nigeria as always been fruitless and unachievable.
Over the years, different programs and agenda has been put in place to solve the problem of unemployment as been laudable and encouraging with the aim that it will eradicate unemployment in Nigeria, not also that the different government are not sincere in creating employment for the youths or the unemployed but each government has always failed to understand that government as no business in creating jobs but the government should be more concerned about creating enabling environment that will make employment strive and bring about massive employment for the unemployed.
The government should concentrate more on putting in place conducive environment for industries to grow. Concentrate more on providing constant and stable electricity for one man business to grow. Construe goods and accessible roads for goods to be easily move from one destination to another by this you are encouraging entrepreneurship. Provision of standard housing scheme for the masses that will give rise to the decongestion of metropolitan and urban area's which in turn will facilitate trade and investment also, creating jobs and providing revenues for the country. Nigeria youths are innovative and highly intelligent if the government can make available small scale loans for the youth to exhibit their creative skills, which will in turn create jobs and minimize poverty in the land.
The government should try and concentrate on economic stability and economic growth. Defense of the country unity and above all even development in every part of the country, when the government focuses on the core functions and responsibilities of government, there will be economic growth and Nigerians will feel the impact of the government of the day. The government just need to provide the necessary security and conducive environment for investors to operate and market their product and service's.
If the Government are sincere in creating millions of jobs for the Nigerian youth as they always claim to create during their campaign. They only need to put the necessary structures, security, and above all conducive environment for investors to compete. With all these, we can be rest assured of the millions of unemployed that will be gainfully employed within a short while.
God bless Nigeria!
