Oh Wow!! Russian Man Builds House With 12,000 Bottles Of Champagne (Photo)

A man in Russia’s Chelyabinsk region recently made the news after it was said that he built the walls of his house by using 12,000 champagne bottles. 52-year-old Hamidullah Ilchibaev has always been interested in constructing things out of beer and vodka bottles, but it wasn’t until he lost his 18-year-old son that he began working on his greatest project a glass bottle house.

His son had always admired his work and pushed him to build a house someday, so he decided to go ahead with the idea, in his memory. Over the course of three years, he managed to collect 12,000 champagne bottle of various shapes and sizes. Some he purchased at a ruble apiece, and others were donated by nearby restaurants.

General Buhari Winning Kano As More Results Emerges

The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari is leading President Goodluck Jonathan by a comfortable margin in Kano State, with results declared in seven local councils.

Here is the breakdown of the showing by the two candidates in seven local councils as announced by INEC returning officer, Professor Mohammed Hamisu, who was former Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University.

The results of the presidential election in 11 out of the 27 local government areas in Imo State collated on Sunday in Owerri, capital of the state, show that President Goodluck Jonathan, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, is clearly leading his main opponent, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Major-Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), Punch reports.

The collated results were from Ideato North, Isiala-Mbaino, Isu, Obowo, Ohaji-Egbema,. Okigwe, Owerri Municipal, Owerri West, Nwangene, Oru East and Ideato South LGAs.

Dr. Reuben Abati Urges Jonathan's Supporters Not To Panic

The Presidency on Sunday urged supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan against panic over some “fake results” of the Saturday’s presidential elections, allegedly being released by opposition party.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, made the Presidency’s position known on his Facebook page.

Abati asked supporters of the President not to be fooled by the said results, saying the only confirmed result so far was the one from Ekiti State. He expressed delight that Jonathan won in the South-West State.

Just In!! INEC Says Final Collation Begins On Monday

The INEC Deputy Director, Publicity, Nick Dazang, has announced that the final collation of results for the presidential and National Assembly elections will commence at the INEC National Collation Centre by 12noon on Monday, March 30, in Abuja.

Speaking on a program on the African Independent Television (AIT) on Sunday, May 29, Dazang said collation of results is currently at various levels in all the states and that results from only two states could be said to have come in.

He said the decision to commence collation on Monday was reached at a meeting of the officials of the commission on Sunday, shortly after the Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega met with newsmen.

A man cut open the body of a giant dead snake after discovering its stomach was abnormally swollen  but what he finds inside is amazing. The gigantic snake had been found by a group of men, who were curious as to what they would find inside after discovering its stomach was hugely swollen.

Using a knife, the man sliced the snake's belly open to reveal that its last meal had actually been another snake - and not a small one either. Both gigantic reptiles are nearly identical in size. See photos below;

Surveillance video from the bus shows the little girl, Annabelle, getting on and taking a seat.

On Sunday morning, Gunmen attacked a centre where election results were being collated in Bauchi State.

Apart from attacking the Central Primary School in Alkaleri Local Government which was being used as a collation centre, the gunmen also attacked Alkaleri Divisional Police Station, and an INEC office, a resident told Premium Times.
