The victim (pictured above) Simon Wafula, 37, was stabbed several times in the stomach. It didn't end there, Malesi then drove a nail into his head, killing him instantly.
Witnesses said Malesi burst in on the two after relatives and neighbors tipped him of an ongoing affair. Wafula's wife of eight years Beatrice told The Star that her husband had left home to attend a funeral in the neighboring village on Sunday night.
"We were shocked to receive the news that my husband, whom we have five children with, had been killed after being found with another man’s wife," Beatrice said.
Bungoma South police boss said the father of four has been arrested and will be charged with murder as soon as investigations are complete. Malesi's wife has since gone missing.
