Epic Throwback Picture Of Late Ooni Of Ife, Oba Sijuwade As He Arrived For His Coronation In 1980

Pictured above is the immediate past Ooni of Ife, late Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse ll as he arrived for his installation and Coronation as the 50th Ooni of Ile Ife back in December 1980, at the age of 50.

Oba Sijuade who died few months ago at the age of 85 in a London hospital after a brief illness was on the throne for 35 years. Meanwhile, see photos of the new Ooni as he made grand entrance into the ancient city of Ile Ife in Osun State ahead of his coronation as the 51st Ooni of Ife. click here
