Today, hundreds of protesters blocked the entrance of the National Assembly complex in Abuja singing and carrying placards and banners demonstrating their support for the embattled Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki who is facing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal for corruption charges.
The protesters carried different placards with inscrpitions, "Enough is enouh, we support Saraki and Ekweremadu."
The protesters who turned out in a large numbers at the early hours of today have warned anti-graft agencies to desist from being used against perceived “political enemies.”
It will be recalled that Senator Bukola Saraki is currently facing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over alleged false declaration of assets at the Code of Conduct Bureau when he was the governor of Kwara State.
