Should We Say Good Riddance? So, Suicide Bomber Blows Up Self In Borno State

A suicide bomber who attempted to attack Rumirgo Market in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State on Saturday morning has blown up himself dying on the spot.

The attack was foiled by a vigilante group member who accosted the bomber for interrogations, while heading to the market.

The vigilante member, who however, sustained injuries, was promptly rushed to the hospital by nearby troops, for medical treatment. Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations, while confirming the incident, urged the public to continue to be more vigilant and security conscious.
