Ado Bayero Habibu Abdullahi
Buhari has sacked the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero and reinstated the one sacked by Goodluck Jonathan in April this year, Habibu Abdullahi.According to statement by Femi Adesina, Ado Bayero's sack is with immediate effect. He is to hand over the management of NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi.
President Buhari wishes Alhaji Bayero well in his future endeavours.
It would be recalled that former Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan appointed Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero as the Managing Director of the NPA on 29 April, 2015.
Sanusi, a lawyer, from Kano State took over from Mallam Habib Abdullahi who was sacked by Jonathan.
It would also be noted that Ado Bayero lost the bid to succeed his father as Emir of Kano to former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Lamido Sanusi.
