Okoracha, who is the chairman of the forum, said the governors were concerned with the level of poverty in the country.
He said the forum had resolved to tackle the issue, adding, “to this end, a committee headed by Alhaji Abubakar Bagudu, Governor of Kebbi, has been set up to fashion out action plan.”
He said the forum had also resolved to meet on monthly basis to assess progress made and how to improve on it. He commended Gov. Bindow Jibrilla of Adamawa for hosting the meeting.
Okorocha also expressed the forum’s condolence to the government and people of Borno over the recent passing away of the state Deputy Governor, Alahji Mustapha Zannah.
