President Buhari Will Probe Jonathan’s Government Soon - Presidency

Media adviser to president Buhari, Femi Adeshina in an interview with Vanguard, confirmed that president Buhari is planning to probe the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan.

The presidency has said, the administration of president Muhammad Buhari will beam its searchlight on the activities of the immediate past administration. 

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina in an interview with Vanguard Newspaper said, President Buhari has reiterated that money in billions of dollars embezzled by officials of the Jonathan-led government will be recovered.

Adesina said the world is too small for anybody to hide adding that anyone found guilty by the law should be heading to jail. Adesina however said, President Buhari cannot afford to go deep into the past or else it will be destructive for his administration even as he said there are some things one cannot close his eyes to. The president's spokesperson also noted that looters will never go free.
