National Assembly Crisis May Lead To Buhari’s Impeachment – Lawyer Warns APC

Dr. Anthony Agbazuere, an Abia State-based constitutional lawyer and human rights activist has warned that if the leadership of the ruling All Progressive Congress does not treat with caution, the leadership crisis rocking the National Assembly, both the APC and President would be consumed in the process.

While giving the warning Wednesday at a press conference in Umuahia,Dr Agbazuere advised the leadership APC to “swallow their pride and accept Senator Olusola Saraki and Hon. Yakubu Dogora as Senate President, and Speaker of the House of Representatives respectively in the interest of the party and to move Nigeria forward.”

He also said the party should stop threatening the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, adding that the same process which brought in Saraki also brought Ekweremadu in.
