Ghanian Art Stonebwoy Turns Down $80,000 Deal From Globacom, Says It Is Too Small

Stonebwoy who just won the BET Award for best international art, has reportedly turned down an offer to become a brand ambassador for telecommunications company, Glo Ghana.

According to reports in Ghana, the artiste and his management turned down the $80,000 on offer and associated benefits since they believe the offer is small and that the award winning act deserves far more than that.

Sources added that a number of conditions set in the contract are also deemed unfavorable to the ‘Pull Up’ singer hence his decision to turn it down. Such conditions include the inability of the much-sought after artiste to perform at events organised by rival brands such as MTN, Tigo and others.

Stonebwoy’s rejection of the contract leaves the telco firm’s offer to a number of Ghanaian celebs seeking to join the Glo train as brand ambassadors or seeking an extension of their contracts. Some of these include Kaakie, Yvonne Nelson, Reggie Rockstone, and Van Vicker.
