A 50 year old Nigerian man, Vincent Uzomah was stabbed yesterday at Dixons Kings Academy, Bradford by his 14 year old student after a quarrel over a mobile phone.
According to reports, Uzomah, a Supply teacher who had worked at the school for just a month was stabbed after he attempted to seize a mobile phone from the student who was using it during science lesson.
Uzomah was stabbed in the stomach with a kitchen knife after a shouting match with the student who then scaled the fence in the school and escaped.

Uzomah was rushed to the hospital where he's been treated. The boy has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being held in Bradford City Centre.

We were trained on how to approach the kids...you talk to the students if they don't listen, you file a report to the head teacher who'll take it up. 9ja style no dey work or....or even shouting at the kids. Hmm! Thank God Mr. Uzomah is doing fine.
