“It is true that the construction company has completed the President’s wing and he is set to move in any moment from now. As at today, it is only the Vice President’s residence that is yet to be fully completed,” the source said.
“We expect that the two men will move into the villa by next week since the work in the Vice President’s apartment is not a serious one,” the source added.
The President is set to finally move into Aso Rock and announce some appointments in his cabinet next week. Earlier this week, the spokesman, Garba Shehu explained that Buhari was not in a hurry to appoint ministers because he had just received the transition report.
Buhari recently called for the account balance of all federal ministries, departments, MDAs and agencies, and there are indications that the president will bailout states currently owing backlog of workers salaries in order to help cushion the effects of the non-payment on the Nigerian economy.
