Presidency Reacts To Reports That Buhari Ordered DSS To Arrest Aisha’s Younger Brother Over Fraud

The presidency has denied reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Department of State Service, DSS, to arrest his wife’s younger brother, Musa Yola, over alleged fraud, Premium Times  reports.

The report says the presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, after been contacted denied the reports.

Mr. Shehu reportedly said, “It is definitely not true, there is no iota of truth on this report there is no basis for the president to do that.’’

Mr. Yola, the man who was allegedly arrested also told the medium that he was never arrested and was shocked to have seen the reports in the social media.

He said, “As we speak, I am in the President’s office and I was with him last night.”

Mr. Yola also denied ever been involved in forgery or fraud related acts, stressed that he had never been arrested by the Police, SSS or any security agency for that matter.

He further cleared that he had never been invited by the police over any crime, wondering who planted the report in the media.

“I simply don’t know or understand who is behind these malicious rumours,” he said.
