Discussion on the current Crisis in the party was made. The meeting was organized for the purpose of discussing the crisis in the party over the choice National Assembly leaders among other things, according to Leadership.
Trouble broke out in the party when Senate President, Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara defied the party to contest and win the positions.
The party had chosen Senator Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila to occupy the posts in a straw poll.
The resolutions reached at the meeting are still unknown as at press time.
