Piglet Born With 4 Eyes, 2 Mouths And 2 Snouts Discovered In China (Photo)

Despite the pig’s mutation the owner of the unusual animal is happy with its arrival.

As the unusual occurs, the  piglet came with four eyes, two mouths and two snouts was born in Beiyan Village, Gaoguan, in Chengkou County, China.

Farmer Jing Guanglan said: “I was very shocked at first but now I believe it is a sign. The piglet will bring me luck, I am positive.”

He hopes that the deformed creature will atract vistors who would like to buy it. The pig – one of 11 in a litter – was born four days ago and veterinarians doubt it will survive to adulthood. The baby weighs 1.5 kilograms and is 30 centimetres long.

The poor animal is barely able to walk owing to the weight of its twin head. Guanglan is now caring for it like a baby, he feeds him with milk powder and vegetables. He has even created a special room so that it is not bullied by its siblings.

The condition of having two heads is known as polycephaly, a rare condition in which an extra, conjoined head is formed when a fertilized egg fails to divide successfully. It can affect all sort of animals, even humans.

Mutation in animals is becoming quite normal nowadays as more and more weird creatures appear: a goat with six legs, a two-headed cow, a piglet who was born with 8 legs, a lamb born with four eyes, two noses and two mouths, a cyclops lamb with only one eye, a two-headed snake and many more.
