I mean no harm or trying to libel any personality by writing this piece but am writing as a young Nigeria who is hungry and thirsty for change, it is more than a month now since the president was sworn into office with his vice president.
Not much have been heard or seen from the president as a change in action that the Nigerian masses voted for, Mr president this is not the best time to Give excuses but time to confidently act as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. My excellency sir, each week as continually generated excuses from your personality in dashing the hopes and aspiration of Nigerians from enjoying the Numerous benefits your personality and your party (the All Progressive Congress) promised the Nigerian masses. Regardless of your age, ethnic, and religion. Nigerian vote E-mass to elect your personality as the president.
Sir, governance is about service delivery and not a drama full of suspense, in the last four months (March-June) our economy as been standstill with a dollar now changing for two hundred and twenty five Naira which is not good for our economy.
Sir, virtually on a daily basis from June, they have been a continual bombing majorly in the north-east with the lost of lives , the national assembly as been let loose with the constituent embarrassment of the national integrity of the Nation in the international world. Armed robbery is now returning back in the South West majorly Lagos State due to the high rate of unemployment.
This can be seen in the besiege of the national assembly by the unemployed Nigerian youth lobbying elected national assembly members for employment as political aides, cost of living is getting high each day. Sir, take firm control of leadership and act with full confident as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria you have been elected for. Time flies as Nigerians are very impatient.
Sir, considering your vast experience in leadership as a former military head of state and a three time presidential aspirants one would be convinced that you should have gotten the necessary manpower that will help in carrying out your vision within the country and outside the sphere of the country.
For the absolute change Nigeria has been yearning for. Rather than consulting some elders statesmen who have eaten our economy so dry and the greedy self-centered politician to nominate same set of political prostitute who have destroyed the economy of this great country. Political offices most especially the minister of the federal republic of Nigeria should not be used to compensate greedy selfish Nigerian politicians.
Sir, continual delay in announcing your prospective ministers and other key political appointee's will continually deny the youth employment. Deprived the masses the dividends of democracy and service delivery to the masses and above all might contribute to the backwardness in the economic and development. Your ministers and other political appointees are your field soldiers who are they to reason, brainstorm, and also advise you on innovative idea's that will help shape the economy right towards the change Nigerians are expecting.
May I quickly remind you sir, time flies and wait for no man, this is not the time to crucify or lay accusing fingers on your predecessor or anyone but a time to wake up from your slumber and act in bringing the desired change to the masses. The unemployed youth are waiting to be employed as you have promised them to employ seventy two thousand youth in your first 100 days in office.
The Primary and secondary school are waiting to eat the free meal a day in school as you promised them. The youth corper who just passed-out are asking how they will get the stipends to sustain them while pending the time they will be gainfully employed. The displaced and vulnerable are asking when will they start collecting their five thousand (#5,000) social security entitlement as a Nigerian and above all Nigerians are asking when will they start enjoying 24hrs uninterrupted power supply? Sir, this and many more are what Nigerians are in a haste to benefit from your tenure.
Mr President, arise from your slumbering bed and act in giving Nigerians a hope of brighter future.
