Just In: Security Operatives Reopens National Assembly Complex

The National Assembly Complex earlier shut by security operatives early this morning has been re-opened.

A reliable correspondent in Abuja reports that staff and journalists are currently being screened before entering. Also, few lawmakers are also strolling into the complex.

Meanwhile, the reconciliatory meeting called by President Muhammad Buhari is yet to get underway, almost an hour after it was originally scheduled to commence.

Our correspondent reported that only party officials and Senator Ahmed Lawan/Femi Gbajabiamila camps are at the International Conference Centre, venue of the parley.

It is not immediately clear if the Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara camp would boycott the meeting.

Matters arising...
