Beatson Asiedu's death was caused by a single stab wound to the front of the chest. Jeffrey was caught in Nigeria in November 2014 and extradited back to UK.
The family of the teenager, who had also appeared in a BBC children's television series, appealed in August for help in finding his killer. His father John Asiedu said:

''I still feel the pain and get a lump in my throat whenever his tragic death crosses my mind, or when I hear that someone has been stabbed to death. Part of me died with him and I have to carry on living with what is left of me."Okafor fled the UK for Nigeria in the days after the murder, and detectives launched a Facebook appeal to try to find him, as well as offering a reward of £10,000 for information leading to his arrest and prosecution. He was last captured on CCTV boarding an Air France flight at Heathrow Airport using his brother's passport. A Scotland Yard spokesman said:
"The Metropolitan Police Service and the British High Commission in Abuja would like to thank the Nigerian police and ministry of justice for the assistance they have provided in securing Okafor's return to the UK."
