The latest is a delegation of party faithful from the south east who visited the President-elect in Abuja to appeal to him for intervention in considering the region for the position of a Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.
The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, who led the delegation, said that such appointment would give the region more voice in the incoming administration.
Other members of the delegation also believe that party members from the South East need to be part of decision makers of the incoming administration.

But let me speak on this one! I am from Imo state, in Okigwe LGA. See my friends Rochas is scam and all the Imo Governors are all scammers! But Rochas own has goon international scam through all his Telelvision adverting. He has not don any new road or completed any serious Project (example) in my lga, he just using local block layers to construct street lights without new roads. He will just com in between one lane and divid it into 2 lane with Blocks and then fix a street light pole since over 3 Years nothing has been don again on this roads. So after few months of that scamming work, he will go snap Fedral road and put it on TV that he's don it. ( example) the Federal road leading from Onitsha to Owerri( was displayed on tv, in the name of Imo gov. Work. Gave students fake small laptop and that's what I sow. Please mind how u understand thins shown on TV and on real Life ( come to lagos where I Live and u won't see Gov. Fashola show u any thin on TV, but he is the Best West Africa Governor and a Good man, also from same APC) I am a Musician, and I am not into politics and I will never Be a Politician. But I Pray Pre. Buhari will Change all that and give us Freedom at last. Amen!
