Yesterday, A former governor of Anambra State decried the exorbitant nature of marriage ceremonies and bride price in the eastern part of the country. A Nairalander just shared his own list.

  3. With dis kind list if girl just tell man say she b from Imo omo na for d man to just move ahead shapaly. These pipo must realize that theey are not selling the woman now. If d woman fuck up small now d man put slap 4 e face pipo go say e wicked, meanwhile her parents are d ones who first sold her out as a expensive comodity. Chinekeeeeee!!Na my village oooo,am from egbu,now u see what I was trying to say,every kindred has its own list,ds kindred in particular no dey laf,except u get person like my dad as a father, most of d parents will tell their kindred heads to bring ds list here and not d comprehensive list,ok if ur child and ds young man re starters,do u expect dem to steal,this is wickedness, na only love,I mean genuine love go make man look d list 2 times,even my own wey b comprehensive list,my dad just dey slash things,take a close look at d list, na umunna wey no no how my parents take train me, na e dey take everything, many young girls na d introduction, finish dem Don carry Belle,till God knows when,it's not good at all,some girls, even start buying things in d list to support their man,I thank God for my parents, I was fighting with d woman dt gave me d list,bc my mum sed I shud tell dem to give me d new amended list,it took her tym,when time came for my mother to present her things, she told them,it's her bizness with her inlaw, God bless their soul,now anyone of dem know as we dey for husband house,its 's only love, d first 2 visits will cost some people 200-300k,infact they need counseling, Emeka na from my village, e come from

  6. Honestly this has been what is discouraging many men from getting married, not that they don't want to get married. Marriage has been turned to a business venture, when it is suppose to be a union.
    I hope and pray that this trend be reverse nationwide as it not only the Ibos whose marriages has become exorbitant.
