In Niger: APC’s Abubakar Bello Wins Governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Niger state, Alh Abubakar Bello, has been declared winner of the governorship election in the state. INEC’s Returning Officer in the State, Prof. Abdulganiu Ambali, while declaring Bello winner, said he polled 593,702 votes to defeat Alh. Umar Nasko of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 239,772 votes. The APC governorship candidate won 23 of the 25 local government areas announced.
