Imo State Governorship Election Has Been Declared Inconclusive

The governorship election in Imo State has been declared inconclusive. Professor Ibidapo Obe, the returning officer made the declaration few minutes ago following massive cancellations of voting results in some wards and local councils.

The RO says Governor Rochas Okorocha is leading in the few wards where results were collated but added that it would be unfair to declare him winner as there are many polling units and wards where voting did not take place.
