Facts have emerged as to why Buhari cancelled his visit to Akwa Ibom.Gen Muhammadu Buhari Rtd was advised to cancel his early planned visit to Akwa Ibom after receiving intelligence that Akpabio having become very uncomfortable with the decision by the President Jonathan to concede defeat to Buhari was plotting to scuttle Buhari swearing-in by permanently plaguing him with a fatal disease when he shakes hands with him on reception.
Buhari's manager weighed the implication of Buhari coming to A'Ibom upon the desperation of Akpabio to disable Buhari and therefore pleaded with the State APC to understand and about the normal activities and triumph over the deceit called Akpabio.
Buhari is reported to have personally called Umana Okon Umana, the APC Candidate in Akwa Ibom State and apologized for the inconveniences and assured him that no matter what, the vote of his people will count no matter the intrigues of Akpabio. He is said to have advised Umana against getting involved in rigging but should document any act of rigging during election should such arise.
In his words, "Go to the election with clean plan and be rest assured that the vote of the people will count, we must deepen our democracy by allowing the vote of the people to count"

DeleteNa so so laf I dey since I see ds caption,all of dem, their hand no clean, a close colleague of mine from akwaibom, d husband was called for appointment,,but d he refused when he saw d conditions melted out, that he wl b giving some people 5m every month,and he has to swear in a shrine and also become part of a cult,he refused, he is not based in Nigeria, Infact he kept telling anyone who cares to hear,he stood for what is right, only d fear of God almighty can make u stay away from ds things
