Report reaching us from Benue State has it that Makurdi, the State capital is currently on ‘fire’ following the emergence of Dr. Samuel Ortom of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the governor-elect of the state.
Daily Post gathered that some angry youths allegedly from the village of the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Terhemen Tarzoor, who are not happy with the outcome of the election have blocked the Markudi-Gboko Road, burning tyres and destroying vehicles.
The youths who are said to be natives of Ihyarev are currently causing havoc in the state.
