Wale Gate Advocates For The Airport Cleaner Who Returned N12Million

Comedian Wale Gates took to twitter this morning to make case for the airport cleaner who allegedly returned N12million she saw at the airport toilet to the owner. The lady Josephine Ugwu is a contractual staff at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, and is said to earn a paltry N7800 a month.

Wale is of the opinion that workers should not be paid less than the N18000 government minimum wage. He also suggests that people should make cash donations to the cleaner for her honesty. See more tweets below;

Her case just exposes d events happening now in both private n govt sector...d issue of contract staffing,,and we hv legislators that were suppose to make a law that will favour working condition in d country...its terrible,,but if anybody wants to help her no need for d media hype just go do ot quietly
