The First Lady, who spoke in Onitsha, Anambra State at the PDP’s women rally, said the APC would be finally laid to rest on Saturday, March 28, a day for Nigeria’s presidential election.
She stated that the defection of the Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru, was another clear indication that the APC was long dead, adding that the party would continue to change names until it was buried.
Mrs. Jonathan, who told her audience not to cast their votes for the APC unless the wished to spend their lives in prison with their husbands, noted that while President Jonathan will be building schools, Muhammadu Buhari would only build prisons if elected into office.
