Tina Campbell from the popular gospel duo, Mary Mary has finally forgiven her cheating husband, Teddy, and has decided to renew their marriage vows.
Christian Today says Campbell looked happy as she prepared for the the renewal of their vows with her sister Goo Goo, who told her that there were some people on the Internet who criticized Tina's decision to forgive her husband.
But Tina only replied: "Why would I let the whole world see my failure, and not let the world see the rebuilding? I don't care what anybody thinks. I chose to forgive because unforgiveness kept me miserable."
She added that people should focus on the fact that something good came from something bad. Tina also said that she has nothing against the women Teddy cheated on her with, since"they did not betray me."
Her younger sister admitted that she is not "quite there yet" when it comes to forgiving Teddy, because she saw the difficulty Tina faced when her heart was broken. But Goo Goo said that she is happy her sister is back to being loving and forgiving again.
The whole Campbell family was in full attendance when Tina and Teddy renewed their vows, and Tina's daughter Laiah even sang a song during the ceremony.
The only thing that could have made the ceremony more special, according to Tina, is if her father Pastor Eddie Atkins had been there.
"Even though my daddy is not here to give me away, he feels very much present. I just wish he was here so I could say, 'We did it, we made it through!' I just wish he could've been there to see how it all turned out. He would be proud of the new Tina and proud of his new son," she said.
