The portal - Nigeria Youth Entrepreneurship Network (NYENET.COM) - is a result of government’s collaboration with the Founder of Empower Nigeria, Nicholas Okoye.
“This one-stop portal that will enhance government’s ability to reach out to the young,” Jonathan said.
According to him, the new online portal would give young entrepreneurs opportunities for both training and funding for entrepreneurial ideas.
He also said the first batch of about 2,000 beneficiaries of one of the schemes had created additional 22 jobs each.
As part of YES, Jonathan signed into the ‘Coalition of Super Mentors’, encouraging other big and prominent Nigerians to follow suit.
