Police Superintendent Shot Dead By A Corporal While On A Check Point (See Photo)

Bauchi State Police Public Relation Officer DSP Haruna Mohammed, has confirmed the death of a superior Officer, Superintendent Chris L. Eza, a Commanding Officer of Mopol 10 of the State Police Command. Chris was shot dead by a police corporal in Bauch.

 The shocking incident happened at about 23.20 on Thursday night when Superintendent Chris Eza was on a routine visit of check points in the State.

“The victim after he was shot was immediately rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi where he was pronounced dead by a Medical Doctor and the corpse has been deposited at the Mortuary for further examination.”
Meanwhile the State Commissioner of Police visited the scene where the incident took place, ordering full investigation into what transpired. According to Mohammed, the suspect has been apprehended and detained.

He also stated that the Commissioner of Police has directed that thorough investigation be carried out, as to why the suspect shot his superior Officer to death.

  7. That's how they keep killing innocent people all in the name of accidental discharge. My question here is....the riffle is supposed to be on safety cart is he not a trained weapon handler?
