The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma, who confirmed the development, disclosed that the suspect equally cut the deceased’s hands and legs while mutilating the body, told Saturday Sun gathered that the late Nwafor Nnalue was living in Damaturu, Yobe State with his family until they were forced to relocate to Anambra State as a result of the Boko Haram insurgency.

Senator Joshua Dariye the former Plateau State Governor to face trial following Supreme Court dismissal of an interlocutory appeal filed by him, challenging the corruption charges leveled against him since 2007 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

UNILAG ‘Big Boy’ Shot Dead By Cultists In The School (Photo)

Olubunmi Elusakin, a 23-year-old student of the University of Lagos has been shot dead at a bar around St. Finbarrs in Akoka area of Lagos while relaxing with friends.

His assailants, suspected to be cultists and also students of UNILAG, walked up to him and shot him at point blank range where he sat, it was learnt,Punch Reports.

Presidential Campaign Organization of the Peoples Democratic Party has alleged that a former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is plotting to become the President of Nigeria through the back door.

It said the plot by the former governor, who is a stalwart of the main opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, was to take over as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the event that Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) wins the March 28, 2015 presidential election.

Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP-PCO, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, made this allegation at a news conference in Abuja on Friday.He nevertheless said the campaign team of the PDP-PCO wishes Buhari long life.

Fani-Kayode said skeletal information available to the PDP-PCO suggests that the Vice Presidential candidate of the APC, Prof Yemi Osibanjo, was picked by Tinubu and forced to take an oath to resign his appointment six months into the new cabinet should the APC win the elections.

Again, I’m going to go out on a limb here to talk on a subject that may not be very popular or nice to Nigerian celebs, especially the guilty ones.

I have said it severally that just because someone is a celebrity doesn’t mean they are smart. They may have a talent or skill but many of them are not smart especially when it involves their finances.

I tried so hard to ignore this trending post but even my friends won't stop talking about it. I decided to go about it a different way.

It Is Unfortunate That Nigerian Youths Are Degenerating Into Social Miscreants, Says IBBA He Denies Having Social Media Account

General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, the Nigeria’s former military President has denied having twitter account or any other account in the social media through which anybody could relate with.

Babangida in a press release signed by one of his aides who is a publisher of an online magazine, Alhaji Iliyasu Dhacko, Ajiya Minna and made available to newsmen on Friday, said he was miffed by the disclosure recently of spurious use of his name by some dubious elements on a social media account.

According to police reports,

24 year old Nigerian Ozeivo Andrew Akerele (pictured above) has been declared missing after he failed to return to his apartment from a night out with his friends on January 30th.

Ozeivo, a new entrant at the Coventry University, UK was last seen at Iglu club on Spon Street where he went to hang out with his friends. Coventry police believe Ozi had called after leaving the club to be picked up from wherever he was.

Bauchi State Police Public Relation Officer DSP Haruna Mohammed, has confirmed the death of a superior Officer, Superintendent Chris L. Eza, a Commanding Officer of Mopol 10 of the State Police Command. Chris was shot dead by a police corporal in Bauch.

The shocking incident happened at about 23.20 on Thursday night when Superintendent Chris Eza was on a routine visit of check points in the State.
