So many Nigerians are talking about this Punch front page advert. The advert says; NIGERIANS BE WARNED! Nigeria... I have set before thee LIFE & DEATH. Therefore choose LIFE, that both thee and thy seed may live. They then placed pictures of dead Head of States and place Muhammadu Buhari's own as the last. Then the advert reads;
Will you allow history to repeat itself? Enough of state burials.
Nigerians, VOTE WISELY
Vote GOODLUCK JONATHAN
Northern Presidency Should Wait Till 2019.
The advert was sponsored by Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose.
Is there anything wrong with the advert?

ReplyDeletePeople r really taking things too far. Fayose himself don't know wen his time will come. If u see a better person vote for him or her and let's stop controversial statement.

ReplyDeleteThis is what you get when you place thugs at the helms of affairs. Fayose is not an exception. Everything is wrong with this advert. Good leadership should not be sacrifice for sectional purpose. Punch knew very well that it wrong, but since it pro-government, nothing would be done.
ReplyDeleteIt is just a pity that Nigerian politicians don't have morales.
