Brazil football legend, Pele, has confirmed that he is recuperating after a successful surgery to remove kidney stones. In a series of tweets, the soccer legend denies reports that he was put in
intensive care. He says he was only transferred to a special unit so he could have more privacy while being treated and monitored.
The 78-year-old has been hospitalized since on November 24 at Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The hospital in a their latest report says "Pele's clinical condition is better," adding that he was not under any "support therapies" or receiving additional medication to keep him stable.
