Former NFL Player Sends Out iPads As Wedding Invitations

Former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson (pictured above with fiancee) sent out the best wedding invitations ever - iPad 4s - each pre-programmed with all of the 411 for his big day, TMZ reports.

"It's pretty badass. Here's what we know. The iPads were sent to several guests a few weeks ago -- and once they're powered on, a program opens informing the recipients about Key's wedding events.
Also included -- a photo gallery, guestbook, and countdown to the big day. The couple also made it easy for guests to buy wedding gifts -- by including the registry right on the iPad.
Of course, the woman Keyshawn is set to marry is Jennifer Conrad -- his longtime GF and the mother of 2 of his children."

Woman Touches Pastor’s Manhood During Church Service (Photo)

Wonders shall never end! According to Report Ghana News, this Pastor was preaching to his congregation on a Sunday morning then he ask people with health problems to stand up and come close to touch a specific place on his body for healing. While everyone was touching the Pastor’s head, shoes and shoulder; this woman, a Bishop of same congregation decided to hold the pastor’s privates for healing.
The Pastor ask why she held his privates and the woman responded that, “her husband penis is not working anymore so she believes when she hold the Pastor’s penis, her husband’s thing would be healed.”
On hearing what the female Bishop said, then the pastor shouted, hallelujah somebody. But can anyone blame the lady, wasn’t she obeying the Pastor's instruction to torch anywhere for healing? Smh!

51-Year Old Woman Who Spent Life Savings On Online Tunisian Boy Toy, Falls For Yet Another (Photos)

A woman who thought she had found love with a Tunisian toyboy ended up penniless after she spent £18,000 of her life savings on him - but claims to have healed her broken heart after finding love with another Tunisian man online.

Michelle Spencer, 51, starting chatting online to a 22-year-old Rami Selmi, after she divorced her husband of 24 years three years ago.

She was swept off her feet by smooth talking Rami, who showered her with compliments and begged her to come to Tunisia to meet him in person.

At the end of a two-week holiday, he proposed to her and she was over the moon - despite having only known him for three months.
He didn’t have a job so she used some of her £18,000 life savings to arrange the wedding.
'I was in love so was happy to spend for the wedding,'It all happened very quickly but it was a whirlwind and it felt so right. I didn’t mind spending the money - at first. I was completely swept off my feet.'My daughter, Rachel, 19, warned me I was being taken for a ride but I thought she was being silly.
But as soon as she returned to the UK she claims she was bombarded by messages from her new husband asking for money- £100 here and there- which, at the time she was happy to send.
'Rami would ask me for money for things like driving lessons so he could get a job. I didn’t mind sending it over, because he was my husband after all and I was sure he would treat me as soon as he got a job.'
But after a trip to Tunisia to visit her husband, she sensed a distance between them when he insisted on sleeping in separate beds.
'It felt as though he didn’t want to touch me.'I tried to tell myself everything was okay, but as soon as I was back in the UK he was pestering me for more money., and he was pestering me to sort out a visa for him.
Over the two years they were married, she spent £18,000 on Rami and was left with no money left to pay the rent and bills - and ended up sending her husband money that was meant to pay her gas bills.

Ms Spencer, who suffers from anxiety and depression, claims incapacity benefit and would use her savings to provide for herself and her daughter Rachel, as well as fund her trips to Tunisia.

Over the two-and-a-half years we were married I gave Rami every little penny and I had and I was left with nothing.
'I feel foolish giving him the money now, but I loved him and I thought he loved me.'But now I feel as though he was using me. He even disappeared to go out drinking with friends on our wedding day.'
Her divorce from Mr Selmi was finalized two weeks ago, and slowly she has been rebuilding her life - with the help of a new 26-year-old partner she met in the same chatrooms. But this time she insists she is wiser and won’t be put off true love.

'I’ve been with Mesbeh(above) for 19 months and it’s going really great he is so different from Rami.'He doesn’t ask me for money at all and we talk online for a couple of hours every day.'I know he wants me for who I am.I try and go and see him as soon as I can, but it’s hard now I have spent all my money on Rami.
'Mesbeh is a trained sports coach so he doesn’t need my money- that’s why I know it’s love. We have discussed marriage but I’m not in a rush to settle down again. All he will ask me for is a bottle of vodka from duty free when I come and visit him. I would like him to come for a holiday here for six months to see how he likes the UK and then take it from there.'My advice to anyone chatting to men online is be very careful and watch out for the sweet talkers.'Never send money, no matter how much they pester you. I know now that even if you love them it’s not the right thing to do.''I am very happy with Mesbeh and I have definitely learnt from my mistake with Rami, now that I am still paying off my debts.'I was foolish and I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake.

Time With Christ: Thursday, July 31, daily devotion - A Friend In Jesus

Topic: A Friend In Jesus (Thursday, July 31, 2014)

Memorise:

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. John 15:14

Read: 1 Samuel 20:16-17

16 So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David's enemies.
17 And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.
Message:

A friend is someone who you share your heart with and who you can trust. A friend is also a person you like a lot. There are different categories of friends. There is a friend in need who is a friend indeed. This is a friend who helps you when you really need help. Ideally, friendship is reciprocal and the Bible enjoins those who have friends to reciprocate with a friendly attitude. Proverbs 18:24 says:

“A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

Jonathan was a friend indeed to David. He could perceive that David would succeed his father - Saul as king. Although this was a threat to his own personal ambition of becoming the king of Israel, nevertheless he loved David as his own soul. Are you a friend indeed? There are many so called friends who will always scheme to frustrate and destroy the destinies of others. Such people cannot be described as friends indeed. With such friends, who needs enemies? There are people who say they are your friends but will treat you badly. One of such persons is Judas Iscariot the betrayer. In Matthew 26:14-16, Judas Iscariot sold out the Lord Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver. What type of friend are you, Jonathan or Judas Iscariot?

Friends, no matter how sincere, can change. There have been cases of people who started as friends indeed but later became betrayers. There are also those who started as betrayers but later became friends indeed. The greatest issue is not who you are presently but who you will eventually turn out to be. Will you turn out to be a friend indeed or a betrayer? There are also situations where friends who are friends indeed disappoint. This might not be because such people are betrayers but because they are human. As human beings, we have our limitations, and there is an extent to which the most sincere of men can help. Who then is the best friend indeed? Jesus! He is the only one who will never disappoint. He knows the worst about you yet He loves you all the same. He is the best friend indeed. Since friendship should be reciprocal, who are the friends of Jesus? The Lord explains this in John 15:14, He said his friends are the ones that obey His commandments. Have you been doing whatever Christ commands? Such commandments include the injunction to live holy. Are you living holy? Do you follow peace with your fellow men? Everyone who claims to be a friend of Jesus should pay their tithes and offerings and also witness for Him. Are you His friend indeed?

Key Point:
The sincerity of our friendship with Christ hinges on obedience to His commandments.

Mikel Obi To Soon Become British Citizen In October

Mikel Obi is about to get his British passport in October, and he’s turning all offers down for now to at least stay in Chelsea for him to obtain his passport first, which he is due to get in October.
“Mikel will be a British citizen by October and that was one of the main considerations why he has opted to stay put at Chelsea at least for the time being. There are offers from clubs like Juventus, Galatasaray and Monaco, but he would rather get his passport before he considers any of them,”

Time With Christ: Wednesday, July 30, daily devotion - Successful Through Meditation

Topic: Successful Through Meditation (Wednesday, July 30, 2014)

Memorise:

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8

Read: Psalm 1:1-6

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Message:

One of the inevitable benefits of righteousness is the ability to generate good success. Success is self-inviting and attractive. It has a compelling force around it that draws people to its possessor. Everyone desires good success. We all are being drawn by the compelling force of success consciously or unconsciously. There are many ways of describing success. Success describes the process of setting out to achieve an outcome and actualising this outcome as anticipated. Someone observed that there are at least two indispensable requirements of good success. These are creativity and innovation. Creativity describes thinking up new ideas and concepts while innovation describes doing new things, products and processes. The relationship between creativity and innovation generates success.

The above mentioned qualities of good success are inseparable and tally with scriptures. The Bible reveals that the alignment of creativity and innovation to produce good success is made possible by proper planning, creating a vision, creating a viable mission, continued learning, being prayerful and diligent, building a team, delegating and encouraging intuitive thinking, risk taking, effective listening, prompt obedience to the word of God, practicing coherent communication, accepting responsibility, promoting and developing products and services, new designs and new outcomes through patience. It can be deduced from the foregoing that proper meditation on the word of God will no doubt result in good success.

Are you born-again? Are you a child of God? You are designated for success. Outstanding success is of God. It is your covenant right, it is your redemptive right and it is your kingdom right. Success is your heritage in Christ while failure is an abuse of redemption. Be aware of the fact that mediocrity is not righteousness. No ordinary son is a pride of his father. A father only rejoices over his outstanding children, not those that are failures. If God is your Father, then you are designated for good success. Good success will however come when we meditate on the word of God and promptly do whatever it says (James 1:22).

Prayer Point:
Father, grant me the grace to always meditate on your Word and to practice whatever it says.

Time With Christ: Tuesday, July 29, daily devotion - Beware of False Prophets!

Topic: BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS! (Tuesday, July 29, 2014)

Memorise:

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 12:3

Read: John 14:26-27

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Message:

To succeed on Earth and make it to heaven, we should beware of false prophets. One of the ways to identify false prophets is through their disposition to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12:3, we are told that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says: “Jesus be cursed”, and that no one can say that Jesus is Lord but by the Holy Spirit. False prophets have a negative attitude to the Lordship of Christ. It is true that false prophets are deceptive. Some are so deceptive that they pretend to say and to do many good things in the Name of Jesus. However, their actions always portray Jesus in bad light and make His Lordship inconsequential. The state of their heart is described in Matthew 15:8 which says,

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”

You should beware of false prophets and false teachers. There is no gain-saying the fact that the heart of a false prophet is far from the Lord. One way of recognising false prophets is through their fake prophecies. Many false prophets portray Jesus as a liar through their fake prophecies. Many predictions of false prophets, which they make using the name of the Lord do not come to pass. Consequently, people lose interest in them and may even conclude that Christianity is bogus. Another way to recognise a false prophet is by their unscriptural behaviour. Many false prophets are immoral. Some practice polygamy instead of monogamy. Some have chains of wives and concubines. Infidelity is rampant among many while some drink alcoholic beverages. They also enjoy dirty jokes and obscenity. Some false prophets have so degenerated to the extent of engaging in money rituals and other obnoxious practices. All these attitudes draw people away from the Lord and say, “Jesus be cursed”. Apart from the foregoing, most false prophets are false teachers. Matthew 7:16&20 say false prophets and false teachers are known by their fruits. False teachers disseminate false knowledge, skills and attitudes. Invariably, they produce disciples whose lifestyles do not glorify God. Most disciples of false teachers are outright agents of the devil; many of them are corrupt, immoral and pretentious. Beware of false prophets!

Arsenal Confirms 4th Signing In 18 days (Details)

Arsenal has completed a deal that will see Calum Chambers join the club from Southampton for a fee around 12m rising to 16m.

Chambers, 19, featured 22 times for the Saints in the Premier League last season and put in impressive performances.

The defender is also a very versatile player, as he can play right-back, centre-back and in midfield. Arsène Wenger expressed his delight at the Englishman’s arrival.

“We are very pleased that Calum has agreed to join us,” he said. “The way he adapted to the Premier League last season with Southampton at a young age shows that he has tremendous quality. He has a lot of the attributes that we look for in a young player and I am sure that he will do well with us.”

Chambers, who is expected to make his Gunners debut this weekend at the Emirates Cup, said: “I am so happy to be signing for Arsenal. They are a team I have much admired for their playing style, and a team who have been one of the top sides in Europe for many years. I’m looking forward to joining up with my new team-mates today and beginning preparation for the season ahead.

“I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone at Southampton FC for everything they have done for me and for making this move possible.”
