There are three things every lady should have in her make up purse.

I compiled this post because I come across ladies that keep having the impression that if they don’t wear heavy make ups or use a certain type of make up product they are not good to go.

Meanwhile, they end up looking Ridiculous. Ladies, you don’t have to use a concealer, foundation, eye shadow, lipstick to look good or presentable.

Here are the things you could use to define your beauty asides the things afore-mentioned.

With these things I am gonna write about below, every lady should be comfortable with and imagine a world without the things I mentioned earlier…

POWDER
Whether white or brown powder, every lady should have a lovely powder that makes her face
look well-finished even without foundation or
concealers.

1) Ensure to buy a powder of your skin shade to avoid looking lighter like a ghost or dark like a burnt cake.

2) Apply powder to all dark areas on your face and slightly towards your ears and neck line.

3) Ensure the powder you bought is suitable for your oily skin if you have or dry skin if that’s the case.

4) Buy your powder from a trusted distributor to avoid reactions if it is fake.

MASCARA
Mascara is one of the basics to your makeup case, as even when we are wearing a natural look, the correct mascara choice will elongate your lashes and open up your eyes to pull to any outfit of your desired style.

It is said that by using a lovely bunch, 80% of your make up look is done, as It will showcase your sparkly eyes no matter the shape or Colour bringing attention to the centre of your face.

Try different textures and colours. This is one of the best, easiest and cheaper ways to play up with your make up, looks, elongating and strengthening your lashes, making them look attractive and making them POP!

There are various types of MASCARA:

1) There are Lengthening ones, good for short/ straight lashes. It extends it beyond its tip, making them look like fake lashes.

2) Thickening or Voluminous ones are good for those with thin or limp lashes. It helps to add volume to your lashes without looking like its over-done or heavy. It makes it look dark and dense.

3) Curling mascara are good for those with straight or poorly defined lashes. It makes it shrink, makes it more pronounced. The curly effect on the wand is to leave the lashes slightly curled than its usual straight shape.

4) Smudge-Proof mascara are good for everyone to make your make up stay neat and withstand long hours, moisture, scratches, rain, swimming, etc. until the end of the hard-working day.

5) Waterproof mascara, are water resistant. To avoid the frustration of mascara running down one’s face or on the shirt due to sweat, rain, tears or any moisture situation. It is also said that if you have an oily skin, as you own natural skin oil makes it smudge and ruin you make-up.

6) Eyebrow mascara helps in the definition of the brows. When you are not satisfied with your eye pencil. Just choose a colour that Matches your hair or a more natural look or opt out for gel types.

Also, here are some precautions ladies need to know and understand when using MASCARA

1) Don’t dispose the empty mascara bottle. Rinse the wand with warm water, dry well. It helps to keep the eyebrow in place by brushing them with it.

2) Always apply a ‘Lash Primer’ as it Protects the lashes from Drying as a result of constant use of mascara. ‘Lash Primers’ ensures even application of mascara, long lasting effect, prevents smudge and clumps and less product absorb on your lashes.

3) Double coating the lashes gives it a ‘Sexy’ look, avoid staining the lower rim of your eye, makes it look darker and messy.

Lip Gloss is glamorous and makes your lips look fuller. What most ladies are not aware of is that lip glosses can dress you up for an occasion, be it a formal or a party. It comes in different shades to give you different looks to fit your desired style.

Usually lip glosses contain glycerin, aloe vera and vitamin E, which helps to moisturize the lips.

There Are Also Types Of LIP GLOSS:

1) Translucent gloss usually don’t have a long lasting effect.

2) Shimmer lip gloss are used on formal occasions in an instant.

3) Coloured gloss are heavier and tend to be very gooey and thick, but they last longer. The versatility of these gloss gives you enough choice when using them. It is good when you want your lips to appear conspicuous or a colourless gloss that gives the lip a nude/Natural look. When I say nude, I mean a colour that is closest to your lip colour.

4) Pot gloss are thicker and long lasting ones. They are fuller and might have a glazed effect too.

Lip scrubs helps to soften the lip by scrubbing them and it removes the dark patches on other days of usage while lip balms protects the lips and avoids dryness especially during Harmattan.
