Emenike had on Monday night, on Instagram announced his retirement from the Super Eagles, so as to avoid insults and also to allow peace in the national team.
Oliseh while speaking with Radio Brila FM on Wednesday, said he is yet to accept that Emenike has retired, because officially, he has not heard anything from him, adding that he doesn't think the Federation has also heard from him.

He said, he has called Emenike twice but he is yet to reach him. The coach added that he is expecting a return call from him. Oliseh however stated that he would not force the 28-year old to have a change of heart as he is mature enough to know what he wants.
