How Suspected Cultists Killed Delta Poly Student

Tragedy struck in Ozoro area of Delta State as a student of the state owned Polytechnic was killed by some alleged cultists.

It was learnt that the deceased, who was a final year National Diploma student in Business Administration, was shot dead in his hostel apartment at Uruole Street in the premises of the institution.

The deceased whose identity is yet to be disclosed was said to have been shot in the neck while asleep in his hostel alongside his two roommates.

Confirming the tragedy, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu said the deceased was killed as a result of a cult clash.

“there was a gun at the place where his corpse was found,” Kalu said. The PPRO further noted that investigation into the matter was ongoing.
