President Muhammadu Buhari has written the Nigerian Senate, seeking an approval to appoint 15 special advisers.
Nigeria’s new president who took over from President Goodluck Jonathan on 29 May, has already named a special adviser for the media.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan got Senate approval to appoint 20 special advisers and 36 ministers, making a cabinet of 56 people. Buhari has promised to reduce the size of government and save money for more important needs.
