Shocking Revelation Of Amounts Spent On Independence Day Celebration Since 2011 To 2015

In a desperate attempt to mock the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan and label it as wasteful and corrupt, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State took to his Facebook page to unveil the amounts spent so far on Independence Day celebration since 2011 to date.

Based on the figures released, N13 billion was spent in 2011; N15 billion in 2012; N14 billion 2013 and N22 billion in 2014. However, The Buhari-led administration this year budgeted a paltry N70 million for Independence Day celebration across the country. He finalized the post with “The APC-PMB Change we voted for.”
