The Chief of Staff to Edo State governor, and former member of the House of Representatives Patrick Obahiagbon, has described the solidarity shown by 81 senators who accompanied the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, to the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Wednesday, as "Political Hallelujahness of the highest order".
Saraki is currently facing a 13-count criminal charge bordering on false assets declaration brought against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Obahiagbon who expressed his reactions through his official Twitter handle, @PObahiagbon, noted that while the executive arm of government presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari had witnessed a positive change, the legislature under the leadership of Bukola Saraki appears to be a different matter. 81 Senators accompanied the Senate President to the tribunal in a show of solidarity.
