Music Star, Jason Derulo Sparks Outrage In South Africa After Asking Audience If They Can Speak English

International singer, Jason Derulo might not be welcome back to South Africa after an offensive remark he made while performing last night.

The singer was on stage at the South African of the Year Awards when he asked the audience: "Y'all speak English right?"

After making the seemingly ignorant comment, South Africans, clearly unimpressed, lambasted Derulo, with some calling him ignorant and others launching a personal attack on his music. Many of them took to Twitter in their droves to vent at the star even after he tried to explain his statement.
