Dr. Olaiya Oni, the Former Minister of Education and the pioneer Ondo State Labour Party Chairman, is dead.
Oni died at the age of 74 today, after being hospitalized at undisclosed private hospital in Akure, the Ondo State.
Family sources said Oni had been battling with health challenges since 2012, which was one of the reasons he relocated from Akure to his home town, Ise-Akoko, Akoko North East local government area of the state.
