This evening, the leadership of the Nigerian Football Federation NFF held talks with Vincent Enyeama to convince him to return to the Super Eagles camp in Belgium.
Enyeama walked out from the camp and announced his retirement on Thursday October 8th after his face-off with Sunday Oliseh. He is currently in Brussels, Germany where he is holding talks with NFF President Amaju Pinnick.
NFF They like this guy ooo
ReplyDeleteIts for his own good....
ReplyDeleteWhich good? My brother he has nothing to lose..its d team who lost a great personality..how much do dey even pay them that u will say it's for his good..compared to what he's been paid in europe..so forget it...it's nigeria who lost by him resigning...nt him
DeleteThat's were u get it wrong....western countries always sees it a pride n honor to play for the national team......beside,,,Vincent is not a god in the team.....wether he stays or not...super eagles will still strive.....as a captain u need to watch ur words bcos ur a leader.....Vincent needs to tender formal apology to d coach n team......
DeleteU said western...Africa is different...i can name many dt dodged international call ups with fake injuries...d way Enyeama narrated it, he was belittled..with all he has done he deserves som respect...nt to be treated lyk a child..and his mother just died..imagine...Oliseh go hear am..enyeama been dey save super eagles ass let's see if d new goalie can do dt
DeleteAnd u said apology, apology for what? For being treated dt way or for being asked to leave d camp? I think it is he who's been owed an apology
DeleteThey know he's still important to d squad coz he brings balance to the team, the only matured performer...they hv done d right thing
ReplyDeleteMy brother every player is important to d team.....do u remember why mikel was drop from the team....for me,,oliseh should b allowed to manage his team his own way period....that way ,,we can build a team
DeleteNot every player is important...some are vastly replaceable like Mikel and all that, som..not yet replaceable like enyeama..he saves our asses on countless occasions plus experience at the highest level..hes hardly been benched in his club..so just let go...enyeama is just d bomb
DeleteAnd when he finally retires inevitably..... . Nigerian football dies right? Hear the coach's diffence before passing judgement, maybe oliseh could have handled it differently but vicent didn't do it right too and to try play d victim for me is not manly enough.
DeleteWow I love this he deserve it
ReplyDeleteThat's some great news. Hmmm! "Uwaifo don talk e own o".
ReplyDeleteI knew that...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm
ReplyDeleteVery good NFF
ReplyDeleteI for see trouble. NFF be ready for d fall out. NFF av undermine d power of d Coach. And now know players will respect him.
ReplyDeleteI wish he did not come back annd anything that hapen to d suuper egles I trust nigeria now day go burn downn his house
ReplyDeleteHmmm... whatever
