At least four people were killed and an unspecified number sustained injuries during an attack by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Balakari village in Chibok local government area of Borno State. A source confirmed the attack, saying it happened around 11am on Saturday.
“Four people were killed in the attack and many houses were also destroyed,” he said. “Some rode on motorbikes, while some trekked. They were fully armed and shot into the air, confidently. The military did not respond on time.” Efforts to confirm the development from Victor Isuku, the police public relations officer in the state, did not yield any result, as he did not answer his call and had not responded to the text message sent to his phone at the time this report was filed.
I thought d military said they were in full control...but let me ask d army chiefs....how much will it cost them to start using drones to mount air survlnce within this worst hit states....I mean we really need to step up on our security strategy oo...
