The Logic Behind The Post On "Simple Mathematics" + Card Giveaway From Mr M

Ok, so a post was made last week by Stan on a simple mathematics and how interesting many people gave their answers and everyone had a strong reason behind their answers.

With the chaos that continued when a winner was announced. I had to put everything on hold to do my usual homework to find the answer to the above math problem.

I asked my kids, husband, siblings, friends, professors, and even went to google. Everyone had their own answers and backing to why they got to that solution.

Not until I decided to look into the logic behind the math problem that some of us came to the conclusion that the math problem is a broken math. Let me break it down;

So, the person who gave this problem left parenthesis out on purpose or forgot to include where necessary and that threw the whole math off!

The theory behind it is that Math MUST have principle to help solve it, without it, it will be chaotic. Same goes with life, if we take out the principles guarding life (GOD), we all will give or build our own principle to guard our solution which is not always the best.

Using this math problem as an example, let us learn to take it back to the creator who gave us the right principle in the 1st place.
