Claire Shepherd, 27, from Swansea passed phone interviews with flying colors for her dream job as a retail merchandiser at shopping logistics company Dee Set.
Despite acing the interview, on her first day her employer discovered the tattoo would apparently 'cause offense' so she was fired after just 30 minutes.
After finding out the news of her dismissal, Claire took to Facebook to vent her frustrations and the post has since been shared over 2,000 times.
Dee Set soon got wind of the Facebook post and offered Claire the job back, but it was too little too late and she rejected the proposal.
D tattoo looks aweful. Can't rili blame her employer 4 firing her. It shows a great deal of irresponsibility. Buh my question is didn't he see it b4 hiring her in d 1st place bcos its in a conspicous place. Have you heard the New Nigerian National Anthem? Anticipate #PromiseLand

ReplyDeleteAbeg that is. Rubbish make she go look somewhere else
ReplyDeleteExactly, whts the benefit of these tattoos? You see it everywhere these days, it's total irresponsible. No sane authority will offer you a job with that. Others like her shud learn from that. Its evil, well the Bible actually kicks against that, as we know the devil is in control. May God deliver this generation.
