Sahara Reporters is hitting us with another expensive report of secrete purchase of a private jet by a Nigerian pastor.
It was reported on Monday, September 14, that famous Nigerian pastor, the SCOAN founder, T.B. Joshua, had bought a Gulfstream G550 worth $60million, but the cleric has however, denied the report.
Barely 24 hours later a another report broke that Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God had also taken a delivery of a brand new jet, which is said to be much newer than the one allegedly owned by T.B. Joshua.
Sources close to Adeboye said the $65million Gulfstream aircraft arrival had coincided with the pastor’s floating of a luxury jet company, Emmanuel Aviation. The jet, produced in 2013 in the United States, was purportedly delivered in May 2015.”
According to the report, upon the new aircraft arrival (N730EA Gulfstream G550) the clergyman jettisoned an older Gulfstream GIV with tail number N707EA.
Adeboye is the second Nigerian pastor to start a private airline in the country, after the Winners Chapel Pastor Bishop David Oyedepo who owns two aircraft in his Dominion Air Company.
Adeboye has recently dropped an emotional phrase that got everyone talking. The RCCG cleric said he was richer than one of the world’s wealthiest man, Bill Gates. It a reference not to the material, but to the spiritual wealth:
“I have houses in at least 188 countries of the world, where we have our churches, so I am richer than Bill Gates. Each time I visit these countries, my children would be struggling and saying ‘daddy, come and stay with me.
Dat plane looks gooood. Congratz to papa. Enjoy ur flights! Have you heard the New Nigerian National Anthem? Anticipate #PromiseLand.
