The popular comedian shared the word of advice to musicians on his Instagram page. Read his full thoughts when you continue...
“Many people only remember how the Hebrew woman dropped Moses in the river to be picked up by Pharaoh's daughter. They discount the process that led to that encounter. She must have asked questions. She must have thought of the consequences of her son being killed. She found out what part of the river bank she used. She knew the time. She had someone monitor the basket. She knew the right time. Study the market before releasing your singles and their videos. Because for the river to attract someone of that class, it must be fresh. So it flows. Before water carry Moses go. Someone made sure the product stayed in the front burner for the customer (Pharaoh's daughter) to see it. It's not about having an idea. Get it to the people who need it. If your songs are good but the cd doesn't get AirPlay then it's like winking in the dark. Follow up your songs with deserving performances. That's after sales service. Let your videos be like when Moses' mother was called to help bring Moses up.#WhatDoIKnowSef shebi I be comedian.”
